Illinois voters can cast a ballot prior to Election Day without having to provide a reason or an excuse for wanting to vote early.

A major reason for the new law is to encourage greater participation in the election.

For the November 8, 2022, General Election, early voting will be conducted at the Henry County Courthouse, as a temporary site, in the office of Barbara M. Link, Henry County Election Authority.

The law prohibits a person who voted during the early voting period from voting at the polls on Election Day. The votes cast during the early voting time period will not be counted until after the polls close on Election Day.

Early voting will be conducted at the Henry County Courthouse, as a temporary site, in the office of Barbara M. Link, Henry County Election Authority.

Hours for early voting are 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. Monday thru Friday
